Agree. If he's alive he has no country to command/abuse. If he's dead, whoopee. It'd be nice to put him on trial and have him account for everything he's done, but thats just the cherry on top. His status is trivia now, nothing more.

Anyone else getting ready for another political firestorm over how to deal with Sandie Hustler? Iraqis surely want him dead, but already a lot of countries've been demanding that Saddam not be executed.

I dunno, I'm a guy who believes in fates worse than death. Death would be less tormenting (and, in my opinion, more humane!) than life in solitary confinement. Either way, he'll get his - it just depends on whether his trial is held by Iraqis, the U.S, or a world court...
