Running GOG WC4 (DOS version) with the DVD upgrade patch.

I haven't been able to get this done. Since GOG provided a DOS version of the game, I wanted it to try it out, since DOSBox allows me to use xpadder properly.

I do everything instructed in PopsiclePete's patch, move the .VOB files to the proper place, but the movies still doesn't play ingame. I know it's easier to get the movies to play in the Windows version, but since in the Upgrade patch page it says " It's designed to work with both the Windows and DOS versions", I really wanted to try the DOS version. Can anyone help me out with this?

You *can't* run the DVD vids with the DOS version. The DVD patch converts the DOS version to a windows version. In this case there would be no arguable difference between just downloading GOGs windows version, other than that there's been some optimizations done to get the GOG version working with newer versions of windows than the old DVD patches.
