I have the original WC4- 6 discs cdrom game,. and it is not detecting my USB joystick at all. the only options it gives me in the install menu are mouse and keyboard. Please help!

thanks.

Is it the windows version or did you install the windows patch? There is a separate joystick patch as well. And don't bother trying to set this up in the install menu. You can enable the joystick from the options menu when you hit ALT+O in flight.

How did enabling the joystick in the in-flight options menu work? What operating system are you running?

windows xp., and when i try to do it in flight,. i'm not able to calibrate it ,. and when i choose joystick and save the settings., nothing happens.

Ok, first, calibrate it in windows *not* in the game. Second, once you hit save you still have to exit the options screen to get back to your mission.

Now if this still isn't working, also make sure to unplug any other USB game controlers especially usb ones like gamepads and such as a windows bug makes them interfere with each other in a number of games (including brand new ones).
