Quine Problems!

Sorry if I'm asking this for the billionth time, but I couldn't find anything related to it.. soo..

After playing Privateer for a little while.. no matter what I do, Quine pops up. Regardless if I click with the mouse, or just tab around and hit enter. It always pops up. It's driving me bonkers. Anybody know what the deal is?
 
Hmm.. could it be it's getting some stray input.. Do you have a funky joystick or anything?
 
Hmm. Actually, maybe it is trying to read my joystick. Not that I use it to fly with.. it throws a fit during calibration. So.. yeah.. maybe that fit is causing some crossed wires or something. I'll play all day tomorrow without it plugged in to see if that's the problem.

I'm sure many did. If I didn't prefer another option, I would have picked the Quine too.
