questions for the model makers

I'm wondering what the model makers use, and how they can afford the licenses or if you're just using a crack.
I'm also wondering if anybody has bought a license for Milkshape 3D, because it's $25 and it's the first time I've seen any purchase offer where you can send cash to a P.O. Box since the 80s. I'm kind of wondering how trustworthy the website is for online purchases.

Milkshape isn't worth the money I didn't pay for it.

I use gmax. The interface is infuriating but it's about as powerful as any top-quality modeler out there without plugins ... and it's FREE.
