anyone knows of a good software to map keyboard keys to joystick ? I tried "joytokey", but it interferes with the gameplay....

Depending on the make of your stick, sometimes it comes with this software. I'm pretty sure mapping software comes with most logitech ones. Have you tried your joystick makers website?

Logitech has a good one:
the Logitech Profiler.

It of course works only with logitech products...

I use my PS2 gamepad on a USB adapter (Super dual box pro : mayflash.com)...

It has button re-mapping, but only remaps to another button (ex : square can be remapped to circle)... so I need a solution to map those buttons to keyboard... any clues ??

My logitech gamepad is pretty much a PSX controler clone so I'd be curious to find out it their profile software might work with other non logitech controlers. That said, USB PSX style controlers that come with the software are pretty cheap as it is without force-feedback, and FF ones aren't a whole lot more.
