Prophecy in XP

There was so many threats and posts that I could not keep up and find the right one I was looking for so I decided to post this one up to get a straight answer.
I tried to play Prophecy on my computer -
P4 - 2GHz
64MG Video Card
48x CD-ROM

And everytime I try to watch the cutscense it jumps a bit, not lagging anyone care to explain what is going on???

Download the Video-skip-Fix from Hcl in the wcnews file-section. That should fix your prob.

People are still asking this same question every day. I updated the first post in the stickied thread about this problem to link directly to the patch. Maybe that will cut down on new threads asking this question. To the next person wondering how to fix this tomorrow, it's a real easy fix. Good idea ChrisReid - Was thinking of making a whole new FAQ for running WC-games under XP, cause it seems people are currently asking same questions again and again. - Which sometimes is of course understandable, cause some tips are only mentioned somewhere during a sticky and not in the first post etc.
But then again, that'll take a real looong time to do so :\ - So good idea to change the sticky

Well, the stickied threads we have eventually get outdated as new methods are developed. If you do make a new comprehensive thread with the intent of sticking it, make sure you include the major points and developments from one of the current threads so we can unstick the old one.
