in the mission where you have to defend midway and get kilrathi help while doing so...well, it seems that i am unable to complete the mission.

aka i kill all the bugs, midway is fine but the mission doesn't end, any ideas?
 
I never had or needed Kilrathi help with anything because I stuck by my wingman Hawk. Try going back to that mission, skinning the cats like they deserve, and then a few missions later when they are begging for your help, reluctantly save their incompetent asses so that you don't get arrested when you land on the Midway.
 
If it's some kind of glitch, it may help if you go to the mission history and replay the game from a point before that particular mission.
 
If you pull up your nav computer, does it show any red targets out on the periphery that you might need to finish off? Did all three waves of Nephilim properly spawn? The last wave is 3 Manta/3 Stingray with no Skates.
 
OK, i redid most of campaign and still mission doesn't end. All fighters are as supposed to be, aka waves are right, but still mission simply doesn't end after you destroy every enemy ship.
 
That's pretty weird. Are there options for communicating with the Midway? Is the autopilot light on? Does anything happen if you try to just fly into the flight deck? Unfortunately you can't even eject, you have to complete this mission.
 
What kind of computer and setup are we talking about? There may be a really odd hardware issue at work.
 
Yeah, if someone has a savegame handy they could put you into the mission right afterwards. Your Callsign will be changed to the one that the other player signed up as.
