Problem with WC4

I have just installed WC4 on my XP computer with the win95 patch and everything, except the Joystick, were working perfect.

I tried a Joystic update, but since that it always kicks me out of the game back to my desktop. The game is still active and when i am back in it kicks me out again after a few seconds.

maybe anyone knows anything about that problem??

The joystick patch was originally intended for the DOS version I believe. The Windows 95 version does joysticks differently, so if you applied it, you might've disrupted something. I'd reinstall WC4 and work within the program to fix your problem. What happened with the joystick before you installed the patch?
