Problem with SVGA

Can anyone help me with my problem? When I try to install or play old games like WC4 & Imperium Galactica, it says I dont have SVGA card. I have P3, ATI All Wonder Pro 128 runing XP so what gives? I think XP comes with its own drivers or is ATI blocking them with its own?

SVGA is a DOS/BIOS thing. Any drivers you install in Windows won't help. As to why any actual card would NOT support this standard is above me however. For WC4 I'd try the windows upgrade. For IG I dunno. Maybe try dosbox?

I would suggest http://dosbox.sourceforge.net to play older games like these.

dosbox didnt work it went to setup and when I wanted to install the screen went black and I got some error, end of story.

you need VESA support on your card, or a software VESA Bios Extension
