Privateer on Windows 98

Ok I tried out the copy rf.tre and priv.tre into the harddrive and rewriting the cfg files. I get an error and it says unloading JEMM or something after I try to run it in DOS.

What else can I try?

u need to setup ur memory manager, i believe Privateer needs himem.sys and emm.sys consult the manually for specifics.
get the manual, an old dos book to explain himem and emm and a case of mountain dew, and u will be set. i'll check my manualls, but in the mean time check the cic and the chatzone for more threads on it, there are many.

If you post your AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files, I'm sure we'll be able to work out something. Also, details such as soundcard would be nice, as many people have trouble getting sound to work afterwards.
