PRIVATEER Music problem

OK I got sound effects and speach to work all good but when ever I try to set up the music card

I get the

Sound card Config error

I have a Vibra16 at

a240 i10 d3 h330 t5

I have set the ram to 8000k to fix some other PRIV issues.

Any help would be great.

Does anyone want to help him? This sounds familiar for some reason, but I don't know enough about sound cards to do anything for him, unfortunately.

It would be very hard to help him if doesn't post his pc's specs.

Base I/O address of 240 seems unusual to me, but should be easy to select from the install menu. Ooh, IRQ and DMA numbers look different too.

In any case, sound is always very difficult to get running properly on Privateer. I just set up Privateer on my brother's computer - it has an old (ISA! I think...) SB AWE64 (which is just a glorified SB16, AFAIK). I got the sound effects working, but music is non-functional.

If the installation for the Vibra is anything like the AWE64, there should be some DOS driver support. If you can find those, that'd be a good start.
