Privateer in Win 95

OK, well I've tried to use the 'MyJemm' tool to get it to run under win 95 and I don't have a pronblem with running in DOS as windows 95 sits on top of DOS so it is present but when I try to run privateer it says something about EMS drivers not being configured properly.

I just wanted to know whether there was an easy way to sort this out. I'm not going to spend weeks trying to sort this out but if there is a quick way to correct this problem I would like to know.
 
Did you set your config.sys up properly? You need to add the emm386.exe line. I can help you out if you post your config.sys here.
 
Where is the config.sys?
I can't find it in the game directory and I have selected to show all hidden files.
Is it part of the game directory or somewhere else?
 
Sorry, found it... Din't realise it was at the top level...

It says:
Device=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
Device=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS NOVCPI
DeviceHigh = C:\ATAPI\TOSHV218.SYS /D:MSCD000
DOS=HIGH, UMB
 
Replace this line:

Device=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS NOVCPI

With this line:

device=c:\windows\emm386.exe ram 16384

Then restart your computer and tell me if it worked.

Thanks, but that´s just our regular Priv1 support. A lot of people here come with the same problem. Enjoy the game!
