Privateer 2 : Problem when saving game

Hi
I'm a french user of Privateer 2 and I just found the XP patch...
So I lauch the game, I talk to Joe and I buy a starship and equipements...
And when i click on the Pod's save button, the program crashes and it come back to the win desktop... I can see a error message which tell me there was an acces error...
Does anybody help me?
 
PS: I don't know if i posted my thread in the good place... If not so, move it please :)
 
Yeah, that was the wrong forum. Everyone should always post their system specs and operating system when they're asking a tech support question. As best as I can tell, this is some sort of memory overflow problem. Go into the ALT+O menu and disable video transitions and try it. Also try going into DXsetup and disabling DirectX 3D acceleration.
