Privateer 2 Keeps Crashing!

Hi there, have been trying to run Privateer 2 on XP and have almost succeeded.

Copied the cds to hard drive and downloaded the launcher 1.0 in order to get it started.

The launcher starts the intro normally with correct sound and graphics, however it crashes back to windows before it hits the first menu screen! Damn

Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.70GHz
512MB of ram.

What mods do I need to do in order to get round this?

maybe you dont have the win95 conversion thing. i would check this site it helped me out

Thanks for the reply Joe,

I have tried that link and extracted all win95 files to the main directory with no luck!

I just can't seem to get past the main intro without crashing back to windows. If anyone has any further ideas please could you post them. I really love this game and just can't wait to play it.
