I have a feeling this has been discussed before but I can't find a thread for it.
I recently upgraded to Win XP, and of course I've had to re-install all my Wing Commander games from scratch. I've got all of them working except for Privateer 2. The problem isn't the game itself - at least I hope it won't be - but I can't get it to start installing. The install program keeps saying there isn't enough disk space on any of the hard drives. There are four drives on my PC and none of them have less than 14GB available! Two of the drives are in NTFS format, the other two are in FAT32.
The version of P2 I'm using is the Windows release from '97. I'm using Win XP Pro as the OS.
I was wondering if anyone knows if the P2 Install program has a problem reading NTFS and FAT32 drives, but reading other threads here it seems plenty of people are able to get P2 up and running on XP. Does anyone know a way of getting round this? (I've tried running the Install program in various compat modes and it still keeps saying the same thing.)
