I've tried the WC4 patch for windows2k, doesn't work for some reason - says there's a file mismatch. I want to play WC4 in Windows XP Home.

Also, I can't even install Privateer 2 because the prog thinks that there's not enough space on the HD (there's 14 GB free), so I can't use that patch on the game.

Any ideas? I need help

dude, you already have another thread for this problem. dont start another thread for the same problem. check out your first thread, THE WUQKED mightve already come up with a solution for ya.
 
i checked the first thread and the solution to WC4 worked, but the solution for P2 couldn't even be tried because i can't install it yet. thanks for the link tho, i will try it now

The windows patch is meant to be installed before the game is installed. - The whole descrition was just linked by Iwannaplayp2. - Sorry, forgot to mention it somehow :( But pls don't start several Threads next time instead of asking back again in one, like Iceman16 said.
