Playing old games on new cpus

Hi there, I was cleaning out under my bed today. And guess what popped out?? My favorite game of all time that I had almost forgotten about! Wing commander 1 & 2 pack, in the white box. I tried installing it on my computer an it goes way to fast on wc1 and wc2 wont even work? Any help[ would be appreciated.

The only thing you can do is get a slowdown program. THe CIC has one in the download section

WC2 shouldn't need slowdown. What happens when you try to run it?
