ok, i havent read yet but an a huge fan of "Space above and Beyond". has anyone read Peter Telep's novels of the show and can provide an review, i may not be able to locate the books anymore. thanks

From what I understand, his S:AaB books are similar to his WC books in the sense that his direct tie in ones are really good adaptions whereas his "original" novel (as in pilgrim stars) not so much. For example, his novelization of the WC is pretty good. It takes the shooting script and fleshes out a few points but remains fairly true to it's source (the script).

He only did one tie-in novel, an adaptation of the pilot -- there are four "junior" novelizations which are by other people.

I remember liking Mr. Telep's book of the pilot but not enjoying his original story (Demolition Winter) so much. I read both long before he was the author of the Wing Commander books (and was excited when his name was announced, since I actually knew who he was...)
