P2 run on XP but i have few problems

Excuse my english, i'm french !

I have had several problems to make Privateer 2 running on XP but it works! with the sound and other!

I pilot with the mouse because I can't make my joystick (only a 4 buttons pad) working.

And the problem is in the menu of Options (ALT O) i can't move the mouse. I can exit only with the "Escape". it do this with the Help menu (ALT H) and when a mail arrives too. But not in the navigation menu (ALT N).

The problem is when a mail arrives because "EScape" don't work and I can't echap and return to the game!

Another problem is that i don't have any mission in the planet. only cargo and flight that helps me (i dont know the word)

I don't remember if they appears further or if it is a problem

Any Idea ???

PS: i run with CPU Killer and the patch don't change anything exept it makes the game in english in a few menus.

You can't get any jobs until you finish the first mission you get in the e-mail, which is an escort mission.

Secondly, when you get the e-mail hold down the ESC button and push fire button on you're mouse, this will get you out of all the email screens.

Note that this will NOT work on screens that you have to press yes or no on.

As for the aforementioned mouse problem I have also encountered that and am looking into a fix now, Good luck =)

When do you hace the patch ready?? - I have the same problem...
