Origin Museum Interviews the Vampire (May 20, 2013)

Long Live the Confederation!
Joe Garrity of the Origin Museum has a pretty cool toy and an interesting piece of history! The Vampire space superiority fighter pictured below was created by Origin Systems to advertise Wing Commander Prophecy at trade shows like E3. Joe recently came across it in a lot of props and costumes saved from Origin after all these years. The Vampire features light-up engines and was originally paired with a model of a Nephilim fighter. Unfortunately, no photographs of the Nephilim ship have surfaced yet... but we're happy to know the Vampire is now preserved for history!

My squadron fighter! Light up engines and what-not too...reminds me of that 1/72 scale Arrow Klavs is building. Except this is official!

One more item on my bucket list, "See the Origin museum."
