NOEMS to RAM

I've got Privateer on 3.5" disk, yes ancient. I made a DOS boot disk, but am still running into problems. When I attempt to boot Privateer, DOS responds with, "Protected mode drive is not responding to EMS function calls. Make sure your EMS drive is not configured with the NOEMS option. If it is, replace the option 'NOEMS' with 'RAM.'" What do I do? Please help!!
 
Post your autoexec.bat, config.sys and dosstart.bat and will see if we can create a boot disk for you. Which OS are you using?
