No mouse support in WC4?

I can use a mouse in WC3 but can't in WC4, what's the deal with that? The mouse works in the game but not when I fly.

why do you need to use a mouse to fly anyway? use a joystick or keyboard.

I never had the urge to fly with a mouse, so I am just guessing: Have you looked over the option pages? Maybe you can set the input device somewhere?

I don't have a joystick and using the keyboard sucks because it isn't as accurate as with a mouse.

I've tried. The mouse works in the game but not when I'm flying.

- What kind of mouse is it (serial, PS2 or USB)?

- What version of WCIV is it (DOS, Win9x or DVD)?

USB mouse, though I have a PS2 adapter for it that I haven't tried yet.

Not sure what version it is, how can I tell? I can run it in Windows.

Hmm... I would imagine it's the Win95 version.

But I'm betting the USB-ness might be the problem -- try that PS2 adaptor...

Yeah okay I'll try that. Strange though that USB works for WC3 but not WC4.

.... or get a new, PS2 (or serial) mouse. At least in Brazil they are very cheap (US$ 4).
