No direct3D option in SO

I have SO installed in XP with the 95 mode going and a GeForce4 card installed and SO will work in software mode only It doesn't give me the option for hardware. How can I fix this?

You mean there's only the software selection in the "Select Video Mode" section thingy?

That´s weird. Try installing the game again.

I tried that I uninstalled UE, SO, and my Nvidia drivers and
rebooted.
installed my Nvidia drivers
rebooted
Installed SO
set SO to 95 mode
rebooted
It's still not there

Have you tried reinstalling DirectX ? Since you deleted a bunch of files (as seen in the UE forum), one you the required files for DirectX might be missing, just a guess.

It's fixed now. And UE! DirectX was fine but it was a configuration problem I had in DirectX. HC1 got to me first but a big "THANK YOU" goes out to you both and everybody else who tried to help becase now I can play UE! I've been looking forward to this for a while.!!
