Hey, I found a place for us to meet up in 2006. It's the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, UAE.
http://www.burj-al-arab.com/

Designed to resemble a billowing sail, the hotel soars to a height of 321 metres, dominating the Dubai coastline. At night, it offers an unforgettable sight, surrounded by choreographed colour sculptures of water and fire. This all-suite hotel reflects the finest that the world has to offer.

In addition to a dining and living area, each suite has an office area complete with laptop, Internet access, private fax, printer and copier. Hidden network of advanced technology - lighting, curtains and air-conditioning at the touch of a button. 42-inch plasma screen, video on demand, DVD and a wide variety of cable channels.

I'd imagine that tennis platform would be the source of a fair bit of lossage for the hotel, from missed balls that go sailing past the safety net thingy around the structure. :)

And think of the poor sailors who are coming home after a long night of fishing, when THWACK! Tennis ball concussion to the head. That's gotta suck.

No golf driving range?

Of course you can. It's just the hotel's helipad and can be converted into all kinds of things

Man, that tennis play is gotta be hard! Standing up there anyway. Its on the beach wich= all time wind, especially up there.
BTW, whats the price for one night? :D

That's freaking awesome!!! :) I too wonder how much for just one night? That tennis court looks great except like Death mentioned...you're going to lose a ton of tennis balls on that.

The price is as spectacular as the hotel itself :p.

Close. You only overestimated the price by $1200.

(or underestimated it by $700, depending on what kind of room you're looking at)

Is acess to the golf/tennis facilities included or do you pay extra for these?

I don't know. But it's safe to assume that when you pay $1300 for one night, you don't pay extra for anything.

(...and even if you do, you really don't care, since you obviously can afford it)

Yeah, I'd assume that if you're in $1000+ per night hotels, the hotel gets away charging you for all sorts of tiny extra things. That's actually Agassi on the tennis court and Tiger Woods playing golf there though. That's how they promote the hotel. Normal people probably can't play.
