Need some tech help with Dosbox

Ok heres what i have done ... I have Privateer and Rightous fire on one disk that is gold edition.

i changed my Ems to false and got past the one problem i had now i have another problem in which this is what i done to get it to run on win Xp

open dosbox
then i typed
mount d d: -t cdrom

after that i typed
d:

then cd d:

then cd inst

then Priv.exe

this is where i get a problem it says there is an error and pagefault didnt correct table.

Can somone help me?
 
Get D-fend, it makes mounting and everything else in dosbox just so much easier.
My privateer worked only after i copied all content from the cd to the directory i installed privateer in and mounted it as cdrom.
 
You could also forget about your CDROM drive and copy the files to your hard drive. Then edit your *.cfg files in your Privateer directory to reflect the fact that they're now on your hard drive and go for it.

Well, if that is all you did, no wonder it doesn't work. You also have to mount a hdd or directory as c:
If you did that as well and just forgot to mention it, I#ve got no other idea at the moment, sorry :(
