Need Help installing WC3, I am desperate!

Yes I have looked through the boards and nothing seems to fit exactly maybe it my computer, or maybe it is my disks but I need Help!

I have tried installing WC3 using Dosbox, I get through the installation, and when it reaches the end and I try to make the save game directory c:\wc3\ It say can not make save game directory please make sure you have enough memory.

When I tried putting all the information on the disk to C and telling dosbox to treat C like a CDRom It says Error Cannont istall may be due to a bad disk.

I have finally tried using VDMSound And I get the This error may be cause by a bad disk yadda yadda yadda.

The irony of all this I have tried installing it normally wihtout dosbox or VDMsound it will install to my computer Of course there is no sound and all the text, and graphics go by to fast but it works.

I am new to using this stuff, and I hope someone out there can help me, because I would really really like to play WC3 since I have never done so before.
 
You could try installing it under Windows (making sure you put in the Soundcard settings from the dosbox.conf file) to create all the WC3 configs, and then run it through dosbox afterward.

Have you mounted all the disks correctly?
 
I will give what you suggested a try hope it works. And Yes I have loaded them properly.
 
Tried it that way and didn't work said it couldn't find some file. Grrrr I just don't get it. Maybe there is just something wrong with my computer.

It would be a huge help if you actually told us exactly what error messages and things it's telling you.

Same here, if you told us exactly what all you were typing into DOSBox so we could see if you were doing something incorrectly or not.
