My Computer plays WCP fine

I have an AMD 800athlon and 720megs of ram. Win XP perf and a TNT2 32meg video card with a SB live. I did no adjustments to any setting in the control panel and i gust re-installed windows. I am using the latest version of direct x off of windows update. I started up WCP and all the movies play grate. Go figure.
 
I don´t know, since I don´t have XP, but I usually give some advice around here on using SB Live! with DOS.
 
The Live problem is not only in XP. I have Win98 and XP and the problem is same in both. Oh and none of those advices works for me.
