has anyone else experienced unplayable games using this card and what could be the problem?

amd athlon 3800+ 64 dual core 200hz
nforce3 motherboard
550 watt omni brand new psu
msi 7600 gt 512mb graphic card
1 gig ddr ram
the problem with this card and this is the second card i have exchanged, makes the menu screens faded and the game unplayable. Is there something im missing as i updated the drivers but still same problems.
