hi

I am having a problem in wing commander 3 running in a dos box. THe joystick is drifting basically in game. The joystick Im using is a MS Sidewinder force feedback pro which is connected to my gameport on my soundcard. Is this just the fact that the game is a dos based game and consequentally digital joysticks will not work?

DOes anyone know of a dos based driver that would work for this.

Did you try to calibrate the stick IN game?

There are no dos drivers for joysticks as far as I know. They all work driverless.

I managed to get it working.

Installed thrustmaster joystick patch
Selecting thrustmaster in the installation program by running wc3 -i.
THen run wc3 and I get prompted for a calibrate. Calibrate joystick and then once wc3 is loaded alt tab --> and select a swf profile with thrustmaster ms dos emulation enabled.

Joystick pretty much perfect now.
