Mouse-flight in Armada?

I seem to recall this being possible, but I can't use mouse flight in Armada (running via Dosbox). Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? If you really CAN'T use mouseflight and I was thinking of Academy or something, well... er, could someone recommend a joystick emulator, or some similar program that could trick Armada into taking mouse input as a joystick?

I have a joystick, but it's dirty and I can't clean it off and I REALLY don't feel like touching it, because I think it's cat vomit onit.

Yeah, I don't think Armada did. I'm not sure about any input software.. I'd recommend getting a nice joystick. Really great ones are only about $50.
