I think this is probably the highest priced single Super Soaker auction I've ever seen. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5983703977

This was the very first CPS cannon that Larami made, US Patent 5,305,919. It was a test gun released late in 1996. It tops out at almost 35 inches in length and 12 pounds. Total capacity is 133 ounces with an output of 28 ounces/second over 50 feet at a 45 degree angle. Two primary variants were made. The pressure gauge extending to the length of the pump handle indicates this is what Super Soaker collectors refer to as the "Mark 1" version.

The blaster turned out to be a little bit too powerful so it was redesigned into a new model the following year with about 25% less power.

Dang. I wouldn't pay an 8th of that price for ANY supersoaker. Then again, I'm not a big fan of them...

I remember being on the business end of one of those many years ago. The damned thing almost knocked me back.

It's weird I see this thread now. Cause I actually had a dream the other night about buying a super soaker. It was crazy looking too cause it had this really wide radius that the water sprayed and instead of pulling a trigger, you had to squeeze this big rubber bladder that was attached to the side of it. And you only had to pump it about five times for it to go really far but it was incredibly hard to pump. I was shooting it around the store for awhile but like in most dreams I have about guns of any kind, they only work for a little while then it turns into some kind of anxiety dream where I'm trying to shoot it again but it doesn't work anymore.
