More Priv woes

Hello. This post will raise my rank, and as such, I thought I'd celebrate by trying to get my Privateer game working. It never has, but given that there are so many people in "Get Priv working" mode (Maybe not?), I thought I'd give my problem a shot.

I install Priv by copying the CD to my Hard drive, going into pure DOS and installing from there. However, whenever I try to boot up the game, I get this error:

"Error Loading executable.

JEMM unloaded."

I have tried modifying the EMM386 line, tried installing with and without sound. I don't know what else to try. Without the CD-ROM enabled in DOS, I have 619kb of conventional memory available, with lots of XMS and EMS (32MB or more). Here are my autoexec and config files. I don't have a working A: drive at present, so any advice will have to be on how to modify the files for now. Thanks for any help.

First is this a pure DOS/win3.1 or win9x/Me machine? Which version? How can you not have a A: drive? They only cost like $8.00.
