Are there any mods in progress that would allow you to play as Kilrathi?

wcuniverse will let you friendly up to the kilrathi.

maybe even start out as one, if the vegastrike engine allows specific character creation at the start (as opposed to being human privateer that works his way into whatever)

It would be possible for WC Saga to do a complete Kilrathi campain...just need some changes IIRC.

in fact Kilrathi fighters are now flyable by the player, but this option is not used in our campaign...
