Was cleaning the basement the other day and I found a rather nice relic of my childhood. Remember Madballs? Those stressball-like toys that were just faces? I thought they were the coolest things once. Unfortanately however, I didn't find any of the Madballs themselves. Just the Madballs puzzle book that came with it. I had Dust Brain, Horn Head, and I think I had Slobulus.

Anyway, good times.
 
If I remember right, Madballs came out about the same time as those little rubbery "Muscle" wrestlers. I vaguely remember a Madball commercial with some kid terrorizing his sister with them. I think I hated those.
 
A madball is also what you get when you put a pool ball in a sock and swing it at someone.
 
I wonder if they, too, will be making a comeback. Noticed for some time that a lot of 80's stuff have been making successful comebacks. "Rainbow Bright" and the "Care Bears" for example.
 
They won't. If anything you might find pictures of them on shirts at Hot Topic.

p.s. I've a serious question now. When is a thread considered too old to be brought back up. Cause I've seen ones I've wanted to comment on but didn't know whether it was too old or not. How can you tell?
