Lines in the movies wc3 KS

Thats right, somebody knows how to eliminate those little horizont lines that appears in the movies betwen missions in wc3?

Yes

Though it's debatable if it looks better. On a large monitor I suppose the lines get pretty big. But originally, I preffered the interlacing because the lines don't really hide any clarity or resolution. The compression was such that without interlacing you had a very blocky and pixelated video. WIth the interlacing (at least on the smaller monitors of the day) your eye essentially filled in the rest and even though it wasn't, the picture would look clearer.

Create a shortcut to WC3W.exe. Go into the properties of that shortcut, and add '-NO_INTERLACE' to the end of the 'target' field.

Anyone know a way of implementing this for Red Alert 95?

I hate these lines so I'm very happy the command line exists but just incase I thought i'd ask if anyone is aware of a similar command for Red Alert 95?

I have to ask, how come the DOS version of WC3 doesn't have interlaced video but the win version does? It's exactly the same with Red Alert.

It's supposed to be an enhancement. It was kind of a mid 90s fad to add that option in. Not everyone likes it, so no_interlace switches started appearing as well.
