Kilrathi Saga on Windows XP SP2, 1280x800

hey there:

I'm having these problems when trying to run WC KS on a Dell XPS M1210 Windows XP SP2 Geforce 7400:

1) WC 1 and WC2 image is incomplete on the right side of the screen; the part that cannot be seen sort of wraps around and is showed on the left side...
2) WC 3 freezes randomly after i click the ouse to go somewhere (bridge level, living level, fliying deck, attend briefing, talk to someone...) sometimes it crashes, some other times it doesn't.

Yes, i already set Win95 compatibility mode, and yes, already tried switching to 640x480. It's not helping.

Any ideas?

No idea about WC3, but as far as WC1 and WC2 goes my guess is that its your monitor. It's probably the first time it had to display such low resolutions. Unless it is incapable of doing so (which is possible for new TFTs) you should be able to simply move the screen to the left.

I guess you missed the sticky thread on running KS in XP? Get the superpatch from here [post]316097[/post] and make sure you UNCHECK the win95 compatibility mode and any other boxes you checked for the game before you install it. It worked wonderfully for me although I get random lock ups between missions but that is easily rectified by re-loading the game. Just make sure you savegame after every mission!
