I made this little bomber for a universe I was fleshing out...I thought it turned out pretty well so I thought I'd share it with the CIC (even though probably no one cares ;) ). It's a heavy fighter/light bomber that performs both roles pretty adequately. Anyway, it's been a slow day here so I thought I would share.

(Note: this is not a WC ship in any shape way or form...canon or non canon).

It looks nice, but I just have to comment on the X-Wing resemblence. Man, you've even got an R2-like dome behind the cockpit :p.
 
I also like it, and I also find it SW-ish. The nose reminds me of the Jedi Knight guy's ship.

I was thinking the same thing with the engines and the cockpit. Kyle Katarn's "Moldy Crow".
 
True, the Moldy Crow, that's the one. I still have no idea how he piloted that, seeing as how there were no forward-facing viewports. :p

Looks like a cross between an X-Wing and a Venture.
 
The engines of the Y-wing and the front of the Raptor, with X-Wing guns and the fuselage of the Venture. Looks cool.
 
Yeah the engines are clearly x-wing (Star Wars) knockoff. I was looking at a ARC-Clone fighter by Xizor over at scifi-meshes.com and thought that he had made some darn beautiful engines so I thought I'd design something along the same lines. I built the engine and then everything else just flowed from that. I'm thinking about removing the chain gun from underneath the nose since it doesn't quite flow with the design.
 
pretty good. It could be more "tridimensional", though, it extends mostly in length and breadth. It can have more hight variation.

I hope I made sense.
