Josh Lucas In The Spotlight (March 1, 2005)

We've never really taken a good look at what Josh Lucas has been up to since he played Flash in Wing Commander 3. MSGS tipped us off about Stealth, a summer movie where Lucas will once again play a hot-shot fighter pilot.

Josh Lucas, who portrayed Major Jace 'Flash' Dillon in Wing Commander 3, is starring opposite Academy Award Winner Jamie Foxx and Jessica Biel in Stealth, a near future glimpse at what the UAV will mean for combat aviators and what could go horribly wrong.
You can find various trailers for the movie here. It looks kind of neat. Information on Lucas' other upcoming movies is available here.

I might check it out since it's aviation related and features Flash. I was disappointed that we didn't get to see Flash in WC4. The pilot who's executed in WC4 by Seether sounded alot and looked a little like Flash, until we saw him up close- I was glad he wasn't though after I saw him executed- that would've really pissed me off. Flash use to be my favorite wingman in WC3 until I ditched him for not following orders.

Those Fighters have something
Normaly I don't like organic looking machines by ther is something about it.

I fust fear the this movie won't make it's way to germany.
I never heard of it in any of our cinema preview shows.

The pilot who was executed by Seether was Provisional Lieutenant Kyle Lee.

Historically speaking, Flash died in the Delius System.

I live in the U.S. and watch a decent amount of T.V., and I also had never heard of this movie until seeing it on the WC Forums- surprising considering Jamie Fox stars in it, and won a bunch of awards recently for playing Ray Charles in "Ray". I wouldn't anticipate it to be a very good movie (no real new ideas- sort of like War Games/2001 Space Odyssy/WC4/etc. type ideas thrown together.) But I'll still prob. watch it due to the reasons I posted above. I might wait until it comes out on DVD and rent it though.

BTW.. what in the robot world happened to my rank insignia!!?? lol, not sure the meaning behind the hijaking of my rank insignia, but the oddity and sheer randomness of it were pretty funny. I might not mind keeping that... whoever that was that did it...

You'r right about that. The plot is'nt new. All those AI-machines revolting against us. Greatings from SkyNet ;-)
But the fightersequenses don't look so bad and that's what makes the movie interesting to me.
I don't expected an extraordinary story but good F/X.
