It's that time of year again...

Let's hear it everyone -

NCAA March Madness. How many pools are you in? Who bothers the hell out of you for somehow winning the pool every year? And who (I know there's one) decided to put the house and the family car up for a wager this time?

I credit the present tourney system for really bringing me into sports when I was younger. There's just few things like it - here's to a couple of weeks of good old fashioned sport!

Probably option C: being an "I'm too good for sports" asshole.

Protip: They're never amusing or entertaining.

Don't stupid the thread to death before it really starts. If you aren't interested, don't post to or read it. It's just that fucking simple.

(IOW: congratulations, you found one of my pet peeves.)

Wow. Ever have that feeling where you've walked into a bar or whatever, said something, and then realized everyone is staring at you, wondering what the f*^& you're doing in there?

Yeah...so, how 'bout that latest Arrow variant?

Nah, it's a conference for all of them. Don't put yourself down too hard- I've been a fan of OSU football for quite some time and only recently did I fully realize what NCAA is.

At any rate, I'm going to enjoy listening for all the upsets... my experience with discussions about March Madness usually involves listening to my close friends talk about recent games so I can act like I know what's going on during later conversations. Just too much b-ball for me to stand watching through all of it.

Yeah, all college sports are dictated and organized by the NCAA.

If you really want your head to start hurting, you can try and figure out all of the conferences that are within the NCAA - Pac 10, Big East, ACC, etc. - and then figure out all of the divisions (D1, D2, and D3) and who plays who and when.

And just when you thought none of this mattered in the REAL world...
