Is there a WC4/WC4DVD resolution upgrade?

Greetings to the greatest WC community!

Was just wondering if there is a patch or something that upgrades the resolution of WC4 flight gameplay, or if it's possible to change that. That would be great if there is.

I recently got the fix for the DVD version and man, i'm soooo damn happy because i thought there would never be a fix. Never say never. All thanks to WCNews and gulikoza for their dedication and contribution to this community.

Not really. Wing Commander 1 runs in less than half the resolution, and it's incredibly fun to go back, play and look at. Graphics are a lot more than resolution. WC1 does really neat effects and things were were simply abandoned by later space sims.
