I'm just trying to pull the ip address off this computer. When I ran cmd ipconfig pulled up three different ip addresses.

And yes, depending on your network configuration, you can have lots of IP addresses.

http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm is pretty useful. Gives you your own IP, and narrows down the location of other people's IPs with less hassle than a trace route.
