Its somewhat difficult because installing 95 will erase your XP bootsector, which is great if you want to boot into 95 all the time.. but not so great if you ever want to run XP again.
What you need:
-More than one partition. You can't install 95 on the same drive letter as XP, even if you install it to a different directory.
-Partitions (or drive letters) that Windows 95 can recognize. If you have the original 95, that means a C drive of 2 GB or less formatted as FAT16. If you have the later 95 (aka OSR2 or 95b), you can use fat32. NTFS, which you may have if you have XP, is a no go.
- A boot disk. Available at bootdisk.com, you need this to get your DOS environment.
- XP Mojo. As indicated above, 95 will erase your XP bootsector. You need to know how to fix it from Recovery Console (though a repair install will also work)
- Patience. As indicated below, without a format this will be messy. The recommend way to set up a dual boot (aka only way that isn't a pita) is to install 95 *before* XP
