installation disk Wing Commander 2 Deluxe missing

I own the Wing Commander 2 Deluxe version and I haven't played it in a long time. I tried installing it onto another computer, but it seems that it requires an installation disk which I cannot find. Does anyone know how I can get the installation files or if someone can e-mail them to me?

Yes, you have used thr wrong install, check all the install in the CD one of these will function (i don´t remember if is Winstall or something).

Which file?

If the installation program is on the disk, what is the file name? When I try to install it it wants me to put a disk in the A:. Can you please explain what I am supposed to do?

You must use the WINSTALL.BAT of the cd root, not the ones from the WING2 subdir.

I copped that installation disk problem too.

If you want to install the game running from the CD, use WINSTALL.BAT

If you want to install the game to run from the HD, copy the contents of \WING2 to your HD, and just run WC2 from there.

I play WC2 from the HD on my 386 - CD is a bit slow for mission load times.
