In need of the W2K patch for Prophecy

Hello,

My wife recently gave me WC:Prophecy for my birthday. Unfortunately, I'm using Windows 2000 and every time I run WCP I get the message `The instruction at "0x004bac55" referenced memory at "0x0005cd60". The memory could not be "read" '. I figured there was probably a patch for the problem, so I searched around and found wcnews (Great site guys!). Anyway, luck was not with me. The servers that contain the patch are being moved and DalNet has my network locked out (I really hate script kiddies sometimes.). If someone could email me the patch at jbanes@techie.com I would be most grateful.

Thanks for your help! Sorry the email bounced. You'd think the server would drop stuff out of my trash to make the space. Anyway, I got the file and WCP works great now! I'm off to frag some Kilrathi-replacement-bad-guys!

Patch Problems

I downloaded the patch for Win2000and it allows me to play the game but the game skips in the movies and it's unstable. I get an error like "prophecy.exe has caused a problem in windows and will be shut down. An error log is being created. " Something like that. I also received that before I downloaded the patch. What do i do to make that stop?
 
Wedge, disabling made the game unplayable whenever the movies came up but i set it to basic and voila!! Errors are at a minimum and very little to no glitching in the movies, though whenever you do auto in the ships there are graphical errors. Thanks a lot!!:) If any more errors come up I know where to go.
 
Really? Basic, not disabled? Must be a Win2000 thing. I hope the celebration is premature. Anyway, enjoy.
