Okely dokely folks,
I know the other thread was closed and all
but i thought I might share this little story about a dude fooling alot of other players in World of Warcraft.
If you are not a fan of the game, it makes no difference you just had to read it and appreciate and think how stupid some people, not to mention how funny it was.

Wow, those guys are so fucking dumb... I've been playing WOW since october and never even tried to "date" any girls. First, dating people on games is sad, second, I'm happilly married, third, 85% of the female characters are guys... And, goddamnit, it is not the point of the game.

Have have played a lot with other people, som of them clearly girls, but all I cared was the game. Thankfully.

If you really want to roleplay instead of hack and slay I see nothing wrong with having dates in character. Doesn't matter either if both are guys in real life. But certainly don't expect that any of it will turn into a real world relationship.

I remember being hit on once when I was playing NWN many moons ago. Lets just say there are advantages to being a neutral-evil character.

Hahaha. That is too funny, I'm actually looking forward to the continuing article in two weeks. I loved the last two "breakups".

Karl,
You are right in this aspect... I was refering to people who are trying to "score" for themselves, not as role playing thing. Of course, relationships might spring up from online play, but both things (roleplaying dating and getting to like someone you play a lot with) are completely different from what we saw on those screenshots.

I was impressed with how different all that was from my own WoW experience, anyway.

One of my friends used to do this kind of stuff. It's amazing how many creepy people he got in touch with.

I think that kind of makes your posting in this thread somewhat moot

I sincerely cannot see why... I'm not dead, nor brain-damaged. Even though I'm not "hunting" anymore, it doesn't mean I forgot all about dating, online or otherwise.
