how do you get privateer to run in xp

Unfortunately, MyJemm only works for Windows 95/98/ME.

He could try partitioning his HD, then formatting one partition on FAT32, then installing Win98, then running MyJemm ;)
 
What do you think would be the best way to take my current 30 gig HD running XP Pro and repartition to make a DOS environment?

It should work if you install and set up all the correct drivers on the DOS partition.
 
I just finished using Partition Magic 8 to create a FAT32 partition for win98. I have installed kilrathi saga, wc4, wcp, priv1, priv2, armada, academy, and wnknown enemy. Of course I had to use MyJemm to get privateer and armada going. Now I have a Wing Commander computer with all of the games. Next is to install the mods....

Yeah, I know but WCP, SO, UE, Academy, and KS would not work in dos. Besides its been so long since I've done a dos only os that I would get headaches.

So Partition magic worked pretty good? I haven't used that before, but I think it would be a better option then having to reformat everything entirely.
 
yeah go with partition magic 8, you may also want to use boot magic to switch back and forth. there is an option for part. magic that lets you make a new harddrive part for a new os. just make sure you don't push back your old os past the boot boundry cause then it is gone...
