High Resolution rip videos

How i can rip WCIV videos with high resolution??

I want edit the videos with premiere or unlead.

Do you have the CD version or the DVD version?

With the CD version, all you need to do is go to HCl's site and download the Wing Commander Movie Player.

With the DVD version, you'll need to figure out some way to edit VOB files, and I'm not sure how to do that.

What videos do you want to rip?
 
dvd2avi is the program i use for vob file extraction. be warned though most game dvd vobs just contain a stream of clips (like the avis in wc3 cd version - they show say: blair coming down stairs then clips of him entering the arrow, then the hellcat then the t-bird etc) - which can be a pain to sort into smaller more recognisable clips - virtualdub is your friend there.

i havent tried extracting clips from wc4 dvd yet so i dont know how much hassle it would be but i hope at the least my warning there makes u realise it can be time consuming :)

The DVD is set up so that each time you make a decision, it opens a different vob and continues from there, Which means there are lots of files to go through looking for the right one.

I love Wing Commander since i was child, and I am very happy with this site!!!

Anybody has the OST?

Its possible to rip the music from the .tre files?

Relatively low resolution clips are all that were included with the CD version of WC4. The DVD version includes movies in 720x480 resolution.

... Unless you have that one-sided DVD that is just the CDs on a DVD...
