Help with Privateer 2

Can somebody help me?
I have Privateer 2 (dos version) and wanna play it but i have Xp. What i must to do to run it on my pc?

Start with the Windows upgrade patch http://www.perli.net/projekte/privateer2win95/

If that doesn't work for you, run it in DOSBox.

I had the same problem not long ago.
I did install the game with dosBOX (If you have troubles with dosBOX, google for it. They got a good forum that will help you too). Then I downloaded the WinPatch from WCNEWS and updatet the dosversion so I was able to play under XP.
One more tip. If you can't calibrate your USB Joystick in p2, leave it unpluged. Load the game, enter the calibration screen and plug it in then, but not earlier. Then you can calibrate it... at least it did work finr for me...
