Help with privateer 2 going too fast

Ok, I have instaled privateer 2, run win 95 patch and everithing seems to run, buth animations on screen seems too fast, and when I take off a planet the game becomes crazy, as run extremely fast.
I have a pentium celeron 2.2 Ghz, with an on board video card and running windows xp, any sugestions to wath is hapenning ?

Have you enabled Windows 95 compatibility mode for the game's main executable or tried adjusting sound and video hardware acceleration in the control panel?
 
HI Cris, yes I have set compatibility mode to w 95, redudced aceleration hust above trhe point thje game won´t run, and still way too fastm a nd some that is anoying, in the booth the intro secuence runs...tooo slow and jummpy, please HELP!
